Fort Worth City Council voted 7-4 on August 25 to approve an amended site plan covering 187 acres of Black Mountain's planned data center project, according to Fort Worth Report reporting republished by KERA. The revised design includes four buildings, an electrical substation and green space separating the campus from nearby homes.
The decision concerns the revised site plan on land already rezoned. It is a planning milestone, rather than an announcement that the campus has opened.
